BCA Academy, an integral part of BCA, is Singapore’s dedicated specialist institution for the Built Environment (BE) sector. Since 1984, we have been developing capabilities across the full spectrum of BE workforce, from young entrants and aspiring practitioners to strategic leaders. 

We complement Institutes of Higher Learning by developing future-ready new entrants and offering career-advancement pathways through our academic programmes. In parallel, our industry-focused professional development initiatives are designed to build deep, industry-relevant expertise for continuous skills development across the entire workforce.

We forge strategic partnerships across the ecosystem - with industry leaders, academic institutions, professional associations, solution providers, and government agencies, both locally and internationally. Our programmes: Cultivating talent at every stage

1. Leadership development

Through the BuildSG LEAD Framework, targeted leadership programmes, and anchor events, we strengthen high-potential individuals and enterprise capabilities. Our focus is on cultivating leaders who can drive sustainable business transformation, champion technological innovation, and foster a culture of collaboration.

2. Continuing Education Training (CET)

As the designated CET Centre for the Built Environment appointed by SkillsFuture Singapore, we offer comprehensive lifelong learning pathways. Our programmes equip practitioners with in-demand skills, support mid-career pivots into the sector, and enable career advancement through subsidised, accessible training aligned with industry transformation priorities.

3. Academic programmes

Our diploma, specialist diploma, and joint degree programmes with partner universities prepare industry-ready graduates through practice-oriented curricula. We focus on applied learning and competencies valued by employers, creating clear pathways to rewarding careers and further academic progression.

4. Specialists training

We deliver advanced technical training through immersive, technology-enabled pedagogy. Our specialist courses equip skilled personnel with niche competencies that directly enhance employability, on-the-job productivity​, and performance excellence.

Our campus: The Built Environment Innovation Hub

The BCA Braddell Campus transforms learning into an immersive experience. As a state-of-the-art living lab, our facilities integrate cutting-edge building technologies, enabling students to learn from, and actively interact with the innovations shaping the future of the built environment.

As a dedicated Built Environment Innovation Hub, the campus also serves as an active test-bed for pioneering solutions, developed in close collaboration with industry.
