About the PWD-BCA Club
The PWD-BCA Club boasts a rich history, rooted in the significant transformation of Singapore's Built Environment sector.
We are proud to continue a legacy of community and support for our members, comprising employees, retirees of the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) and former staff of the BCA and the Public Works Department (PWD).
Our rich history
The PWD Club was reconstituted and officially renamed as the PWD-BCA Club on 1 April 1999. This significant change occurred when the Building Control Division of the then Public Works Department (PWD) merged with the then Construction and Industry Development Board (CIDB) to form the new statutory board, the Building and Construction Authority (BCA). This historical moment marked the beginning of our club's journey under its current identity.
