The Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC) provides a standardised contract form for all public sector construction projects in Singapore. By using consistent contract terms across projects, the PSSCOC increases familiarity among users, reduces tendering efforts, and promotes greater efficiency in contract administration. It also reduces the need for extensive contract negotiations in each project and allows progressive contractual practices such as fairer allocation of risks between contract parties to be introduced in public sector construction contracts.
