Accreditation and Certification Schemes
Accreditation and certification schemes help to provide recognition for and assure clients of a firm’s capabilities and work quality in various aspects of their work.

Physical quality checks conducted for certification of Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC) units ensure consistency and compliance in various areas.
To raise quality standards and enhance professional competency in the construction industry, several accreditation schemes were jointly developed by BCA and the relevant trade associations. The award of certificates and audits are administered by the trade associations, with the support of BCA.
Firms are encouraged to apply for accreditation to strengthen their capabilities and gain industry recognition. To find out more about the accreditation criteria and benefits of the accreditation schemes, kindly refer to the links provided in the following sections. The schemes listed below are categorised broadly into those for Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA) component suppliers, and those for construction quality related accreditation.
